In the catholic church of Ber Lawkasi, built in baked-clay bricks, Father Amedee Eukerbe officiates. During Eucharist celebration, he shows the Host to the faithfuls before consecrating and sharing it during communion. To reach the village, he rode his bike on a track, during a more than 30 kilometers trip, from his presbytery in Deli. Bir Lawkasi is one of the 63 villages of his vast parish that lays sprawl along 70 kilometers. The church is fulled as the priest does not come often, because of the numerous churches in the parish. His last visit was six weeks ago.
